Catherine holds dual degrees in architecture (2000) and
interior design (1983) from Auburn University. Her education also includes a
summer in Cortona, Italy with the University of Georgia art program.After college, she worked as a designer in
Boston and then returned to Alabama to work for her father’s import business.
She now works in Fairhope for Walcott Adams Verneuille Architects. Her local
projects include residential and commercial work with an emphasis on custom
details, furniture design, and collaborations with local craftspeople.
Catherine is a LEED accredited professional and an NCIDQ qualified interior
designer. She also was part of the design team for a LEED Platinum home in
Rosemary Beach, Florida.Outside of the
office, Catherine pursues her belief in sustainable living and protecting the
environment by serving on the board of the Alabama Coastal Foundation.
