1.
Feld Thoughts

Brad Feld has developed FeldThoughts from the investor's point of view. This well-written blog comes from a true expert on entrepreneurial finance. Feld includes stories from his personal life which makes the concepts seems more real and more interesting than business blogs over-burdened with facts and numbers.

 2.
SoftTech VC

Jeff Clavier places a tight software focus on his SoftTech VC blog. His background as a founder of a software firm and a founder of venture capital funds provide him with the perfect platform from which to write. Its no wonder that Business Week named him one of the 25 most influential people on the Web.

3.
Venture Blog

David Hornik writes Venture Blog for venture capitalist to read. He calls it a random walk and it reads like his personal thoughts on investment issues.

 4.
Early Stage VC

Most entrepreneurs claim to have a very difficult time obtaining early stage financing. Peter Rip, General Partner of Crosslink Capital, take the issue head on with his Early Stage VC blog. Readers will appreciate the use of facts and data to support Rip's views.

 5. Who Has Time for This?

As the name implies,
Who Has Time for This? is not an ordinary entrepreneurial finance blog. The fact that David Cowan publishes his atheist stance on the homepage says a lot. Although this blog is on the eclectic side, there are always a few nuggets that make one say, "Huh."

 6. VC Confidential

Matt McCall has created his
VC Confidential blog for people on the outside looking in. In it he reveals what the venture capitalist insiders are doing. His questioning of the common investment incentive of options is refreshing.

 7.
Angel Blog

Basil Peters has created a blog that is more of a "how to" site than personal reflection. Angel Blog is geared toward angel investors and entrepreneurs who would like to work with angel investors. It is the only blog we found that specializes in angel financing. Anyone getting started in angel investing should probably take a look at this site.

8.
 StartupCFO

One of the great features of this blog is that StartupCFO is written by a startup CFO. Mark MacCleod gives recommendations based on his past and current experience. The fact that he gets into the specifics rather than just the conceptual should help a lot of entrepreneurs and CFOs. MacCleod publishes his posts about once a week.

9.
Entrepreneurship Blog

Granted, Andrew Fife covers a lot of ground in his
Entrepreneurship Blog, but the high-octane value from this blog comes from his posts on the entrepreneurial financing process. Although they make for a good read, serious entrepreneurs will bypass the commentary on college football polls and political action and go straight the the "Raising Capital" section.

10.
The BizEquity Blog

The name does not say it all. Steven Mallas posts notes on debt as well as equity in
The BizEquity Blog. While his topics are go tips for the entrepreneur, he keeps his posts current by discussion what is going on in the world and how it affects entrepreneurs. From a finance point of view, the issues he picks are the one that are or should be on the minds of entrepreneurs at the time he writes about them.

11.

Venture Hype

Venture Hype is a blog for angel investors. It works for entrepreneurs in the sense that entrepreneurs can find what is important to investors by reading their posts.
